The most prevalent disease affecting Americans is heart disease. Based on recent statistics, the American Heart Association (AHA) estimates that 80,000,000 American adults (one in three) have one or more types of cardiovascular disease… of which 38,000,000 of these people are under the age of 60.

What’s more, the AHA indicates cardiovascular problems result in about 864,000 deaths each year!

There is a major health hazard that women—and men—face in their 40s. It’s called estrogen dominance and there’s a huge chance that your physician has misdiagnosed your symptoms. Not only does aging play a role, but other factors such as diet and environmental toxins can wreak havoc on your hormones. Here’s how to tell if you’re suffering from estrogen dominance…

Chances are good that you have never heard of estrogen dominance, but it’s a major health hazard for women—and men—over 40. With the correct balance, estrogen provides anti-inflammatory properties and protects our health in many ways. However, an imbalance where there is an excess of estrogen and xenoestrogens (chemicals in the environment that mimic the effects of estrogen) leads to estrogen dominance.

This overabundance of estrogen is responsible for a variety of health problems such as…

Weight gain―especially belly fat―without eating more

Hot flashes and uncomfortable menopausal symptoms

Unwanted facial hair

Vaginal dryness and painful intercourse

Bloating and water retention

Memory loss and “senior moments”

Depression and anxiety

Migraines or headaches associated with the menstrual cycle

Irregular or skipped menstrual cycles

Trouble sleeping

Low sex drive

Dry skin and wrinkles

Brittle bones

Breast tenderness

To help prevent estrogen dominance, Marcelle Pick, OB/GYN NP, indicates that the two primary female sex hormones—estrogen and progesterone—must be in balance. Estrogen is responsible for stimulating tissue growth and progesterone is the hormone that signals the body to absorb and remove it.

What throws off this delicate balance? Aging can play a part because, unfortunately, as you get older, your hormone levels change and create more estrogen in your body than you need.

An overabundance of estrogen can also be brought on by environmental, dietary and lifestyle factors.

The question of estrogen dominance and what causes it is as complicated as each individual is unique—therefore, you should discuss your individual complications with a physician who is open to natural alternative hormone therapy.

When you can’t properly empty your bowels, you will experience damage to every cell, gland and organ in your body. Even worse, without regular, daily elimination and colon cleansing, your bloodstream and lymph system can become overloaded with toxins, chemicals and rotting waste.

If you continue to be plagued by symptoms such as occasional diarrhea, constipation, irritable bowels, smelly elimination, bloating, excessive and smelly gas, cramping and heartburn… then you may have a clogged and unhealthy excretory system.

In fact, your colon may even be a breeding ground for harmful parasites. According to June Wiles, Ph.D., “Parasites are vermin that steal your food, drink your blood and leave their excrement in your body to be reabsorbed into the bloodstream as nourishment.”

You can also be exposed to parasites if you eat meats such as pork and fish… drink tap water… eat raw fruits and vegetables… take antibiotics… work or live with children… travel out of the country… shake hands with people… or touch door knobs.

To help rid your body of parasites once-and-for-all and restore healthy bowel eliminations for a whistle-clean colon, look for amazing digestive nutrients such as cascara sagrada, senna leaf, black walnut bark and slippery elm bark.

Regular fish oil supplements don’t provide the maximum levels of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals contained in pure krill oil. This amazing oil has the ability to transport the nutrients straight to your cells to convert for use by your body. Plus, krill doesn’t contain brain-destroying heavy metals and toxins like mercury that’s found in regular fish oil. For more about the power of krill… keep reading!

For optimum health we need powerful anti-inflammatory agents known as omega-3 fatty acids. Hundreds of scientific studies have clinically proven the remarkable health benefits of omega-3 fatty acids found in all-natural krill oil. Here are just a few of the results…

The United States Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) published a 2005 review of the impact of omega-3 fats on age-related memory loss. The report concluded that consuming omega-3 fats contributed to a significant reduction in age-related memory loss.

In Japan, the incidence of cerebral brain problems has been found to be inversely proportional to blood levels of omega-3s. This means the higher the omega-3s, the less risk of brain problems. And the levels of omega-3s in the Japanese are generally 10 times higher than in Americans, thanks to a diet high in fish and krill.

In a clinical study conducted by Canadian researchers from the University of Montreal, the findings show that omega-3s found in krill oil significantly reduced several key risk factors for high cholesterol. In fact, the results showed a:

Reduction in total cholesterol by 13 percent

Decrease in “bad” LDL cholesterol by 32 percent

Deduction in triglycerides by 11 percent

Increase in “good” HDL cholesterol by 44 percent

The Mayo Clinic Proceedings reports three large controlled trials of 32,000 people who received either omega-3 fatty acid supplements with DHA and EPA or a placebo. The results? A reduction of cardiovascular problems by as much as 45 percent in those taking omega-3s.

What’s more, in a 20-year Danish study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, 852 middle-aged men, free of heart problems, ate as little as one ounce of fish a day or no fish. The results? Death from heart problems was 50 percent lower among the fish eaters.

But that’s not all! In an Oregon Health Services Study, 20 patients with abnormally high triglycerides ate a diet high in omega-3 fish oils. Triglycerides fell 79 percent and total cholesterol plummeted 45 percent.

As you can see, taking omega-3s every day can be lifesaving. Boosting your intake of healthy omega-3 fats can help you soothe your minor joint aches… promote healthy blood sugar balance… promote healthy heart and brain function… improve memory and “senior moments”… support healthy cholesterol levels… promote healthy blood pressure… maintain healthy support for PMS symptoms… and promote healthy mood levels.

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for your diet—and should be supplemented since your body doesn’t produce them on its own.

When your body is overloaded with acid it can affect your heart, brain and every other organ, tissue and cell in your body. But by making a few simple dietary changes, you can improve your health tremendously. Follow our 80/20 rule and you’ll see the difference food choices can make in your health! Keep reading this informative article for all the details…

According to the Journal of Longevity, declining health can be attributed to acid overload. This toxic condition can occur when your acid/alkaline balance is not maintained. The result of an acid system includes circulation problems, heart troubles, fatigue and low energy, premature aging, stiff joints, memory loss, lack of sex drive, constipation, bloating, breathing difficulties, skin problems and the threat of serious terminal illnesses.

Acid overload happens when waste builds up in your body—bad cholesterol, fatty acids, uric acid, sulfates and phosphates, just to name a few. This waste clogs up your healthy cells and tissues and causes you to get sick.

But there’s a simple way to measure your acid to alkaline ratio. You can take test strips and dip them in your saliva or urine. Depending on the color of the strip once exposed to your bodily fluid, you can use a chart to determine your levels. The scale ranges from zero to 14, with the lowest being the most acidic and the highest being the most alkaline. For optimum health, you should aim for a 7.5 measurement.

If you find you are more acidic, foods can help regulate your alkaline balance. Alkaline foods include vegetables, fruits, tofu, goat’s milk, soy products, nuts, seeds, protein whey powder, mineral water and green tea. Acid-forming foods to avoid include fatty meats, dairy products, artificial sweeteners and sugars, processed foods, starchy beans and vegetables, soda drinks, beer, wine and white breads.

By consuming a diet made of 80 percent alkaline foods and 20 percent acid-forming foods while drinking at least eight glasses of alkaline water daily, you’re bound to see an improvement in your health in only one year or less!

The primary reason we age is that our cells begin to die. If we could help prevent or reverse this molecular action then we could live well beyond 100 years of age. One nutrient known for its anti-aging properties can be found in the skin and juice of grapes and in wine. Studies show it activates the survival gene in cells to prevent their death. For more about this miracle nutrient, keep reading…

Recent scientific studies have discovered a simple compound that can help enhance, improve and even lengthen your life—without any negative side effects. Imagine living five… 10… or 15 years longer than the average-age man or woman.

Specialists from the Mayo Clinic and Harvard University state that a miracle nutrient called resveratrol found in red wine could be the elixir to extend your life. Resveratrol can also be found in grapes, peanuts, seeds, various Chinese and Japanese herbs, raspberries, blueberries, and cranberries.

When it comes to protecting your cells from abnormal growth that can lead to cancer, clinical studies show resveratrol can boost the health and lifespan of your cells. Researchers at the University of Illinois in Chicago found that resveratrol interfered with the three major stages of cancer production. Resveratrol was found to neutralize free radical damage in the initiation of the disease, reduce inflammation during the promotion of the disease and inhibit further abnormal cell growth during the progression of the disease. According to the results published in Science, the data suggest that resveratrol is a highly effective nutrient that may present itself as a potential cancer chemopreventive agent in humans, as well.

By supplementing with resveratrol, not only can you fight abnormal cell growth, you can help shut down sick cells and prevent them from multiplying… repair cells faster and keep healthy cells living longer and stronger… increase your lifespan by decades… and virtually wipe out old-age health concerns including blood sugar imbalances, memory loss and cholesterol problems.

However, those over-the-counter meds could be causing more harm than good. If you want to get relief with all-natural solutions, then keep reading this article to find out the one good acid your stomach must have!

There are more than 100 million Americans suffering from occasional heartburn. And most of you are trying to find relief by using antacids or over-the-counter digestion drugs. But this could be the root cause of your symptoms.

If you suffer from:

Heartburn

Indigestion

Bloating

Upset stomach

Embarrassing gas

Diarrhea or constipation

…then you need a safe and effective solution that can help ease your pain and discomfort.

It’s called hydrochloric acid (HCl), and it’s a naturally occurring stomach acid that you must have to break down your foods properly. When you body is deficient in HCl you can’t absorb the essential vitamins and minerals contained in your meals… then your cells become starved… and that’s when health problems, disorders and diseases can set in.

Once you begin to supplement with HCl and other digestive enzymes such as amylase, protease and lipase, you may experience an end to the burning feeling rising from your stomach into the center of your chest… relief from chronic burps and belches… a healthy balance of acid in your stomach… and an end to stomach acid backing up in your throat.

To prevent the cycle of taking antacids every day, only to have your painful symptoms return day after day and night after night, try these all-natural solutions for your worst digestive problems.

Why do drug companies not disclose that their cholesterol-lowering drugs cause a deficiency of your essential Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) levels? In Canada, the disclosure is mandatory if the drug inhibits your amounts of CoQ10.

Why do drug companies not disclose that their cholesterol-lowering drugs cause a deficiency of your essential Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) levels? In Canada, the disclosure is mandatory if the drug inhibits your amounts of CoQ10. But here in the United States, if you take statins and are unaware of the side effects you could suffer from:

Serious heart problems

Deterioration of critical heart muscle

Low energy levels and extreme fatigue

Poor circulation

Chest pain

Skipped heartbeats

If you are in the at-risk group of patients taking Lipitor®, Crestor®, Zocor® or Mevacor®, then you need to replenish your depleted CoQ10 levels so you can experience healthy blood pressure levels, protection from memory loss, improved cell structure, endless amounts of energy and relief from recurrent headache pain.

CoQ10 is the energy spark that all 100 trillion of your body’s cells need to thrive. Plus, your heart must have this essential nutrient since it uses 10 times more CoQ10 than any other organ in your body.

By supplementing with CoQ10 patients have experienced remarkable clinical results. Within 30 days of taking the CoQ10 supplement, 75 percent of patients reported fewer heart rhythm disturbances, 66 percent of patients reported diminished chest pain and 50 percent fewer patients suffered from future cardiac events. Plus, after only eight weeks 87 percent of patients had restored heart function.

After more than 1,000 published medical studies, CoQ10 is proven to be one of the most critical nutrients for your cells, heart and brain. Be sure to include this potentially lifesaving solution for optimum cardiac and neurological health well into your 90s and beyond!

According to research published by the Pennington Biomedical Center in Louisiana, exercise does more than help control your weight when it comes to dealing with diabetes. By increasing your muscle mass, you can lower your blood sugar levels since healthier muscle is more responsive to insulin.

So how much exercise should you be getting to help control your prediabetes or diabetes? The center recommends combining 30 minutes of aerobic exercise with 20 to 30 minutes of resistance training five days a week. By walking or running and introducing weights or strength training, you may see a more significant drop in your blood sugar levels.

Research from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine found that for most people, their commitment to weight loss and exercise was determined by relationships—not just gadgets like pedometers or treadmills. This means that participating in a class or workout group may help you stay on track with your fitness goals.

Other ways to get some exercise involve everyday chores or activities.

By unpacking groceries… raking leaves… pushing the lawn mower… or carrying laundry around the house, you can work toward achieving some of your daily strength-training goals. Also, walks around the house or office can be beneficial, plus frequently taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

Be sure to read this list of all-natural remedies to help ensure your prostate health for years to come!

How many times did you get up to pee last night? One… two… three times or more? It could be due to prostate problems, which affect more than 30 million American men. The condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is the name for an enlarged prostate that can cause:

Frequent bathroom visits.

Dribbling or weak urine stream.

Burning sensation in your groin area.

Interrupted sleep that drains your energy the next day.

Pain in your lower back and hips.

Low sex drive and soft erections.

What’s worse, as your prostate grows, it applies more and more pressure to your groin area. It’s important to understand that BPH is NOT prostate cancer, but this serious condition could lead to abnormal cell growth. Routine check-ups with your physician can ensure the health of not only your prostate for the protection of your bladder, but for every other vital organ in your body.

Here’s a helpful list of all-natural nutrients that can help promote healthy prostate and bladder function. Some of these remedies have been around for centuries and they can still work for you today!

Saw palmetto—known as the prostate protector, this extract can improve urinary function and reduce BPH symptoms.

Beta sitosterol—this nutrient can improve your urine flow, reduce prostate size and decrease your visits to the bathroom.

Selenium—this mineral helps protect your cells from abnormal growth by causing them to die off—a process called apoptosis.

Lycopene—this antioxidant has been scientifically shown to help lower your chances of developing prostate cancer by attacking the free radicals that cause abnormal cell growth.

Pumpkin seeds—these nutritious seeds can help stimulate the muscles you need during ejaculation and help reduce inflammation of the prostate glands.
