Easy Ways to Cleanse Your Colon of Toxins TODAY!

In our last issue, you learned how your health can be impacted by the toxic buildup in your colon. Now comes your time for action! This week you’ll find out about some healthy cleanses to rid your body of the waste that has been stuck in your system for years!

Your colon is the window to your total body health. Some research even indicates the dominant symptom in more than 90 percent of all patients with health disorders originates in the colon.

But many doctors practicing traditional medicine don’t consider irregular bowel movements to be a significant problem. It’s amazing that they don’t know that backup in the colon can send poisons throughout your whole body!

One way to ease your colon troubles is through an enema, or the procedure of introducing liquids into the rectum to flush out your colon. General colon health has degenerated immensely due to processed food wastes… prescription drugs… and loads of environmental pollutants. A cleansing enema can help set you on a path to renewed health and a sense of well being!

Here are several examples of enemas:

Catnip Enema: Make a solution using 1 teaspoon of catnip herb (or one herbal teabag) and 2 cups of unchlorinated hot water. Cover the liquid and allow it to cool to room temperature. Remove the teabag or strain if you used loose herbs.

Aloe Vera Enema: Use 2 to 4 ounces of liquid aloe vera. This remarkable plant has a detoxifying effect that helps loosen hardened wastes sticking to your colon walls.

Honey Enema: Use 4 Tablespoons of raw honey to each pint of unchlorinated water. Honey feeds the helpful bacteria in your colon and helps correct the pH acid/alkaline balance.

Vinegar Enema: Use 1 Tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to one pint of unchlorinated water. The vinegar helps loosen hardened waste—and boosts growth of good bacteria. You can use lemon juice instead of apple cider vinegar; but do not use white distilled vinegar.

Directions: Use any of the above enemas in a reusable enema bag. Spread a layer of clean towels on the floor. Open your enema bottle by unscrewing the white plug at the top end. Pour in the liquid, then replace the plug.

In your bathroom, near a toilet, hang the bag so it is elevated (on shower rod, for example). This helps the fluid run freely down the hanging tube.

Lubricate the tapered end of the enema bag and gently insert it into your rectum. While on your knees, bend forward.

Slowly release the clamp on the attached hose so that the liquid flows into your colon. This may cause slight discomfort or a feeling of fullness. Try to hold the fluid inside your body.

While continuing to hold the fluid inside of your body, close the valve and remove the enema tip. Lay down on your back on the towels you spread on the floor. After a few minutes, turn to the right side.

Next, turn onto your stomach and then onto your left side. Finally, roll over onto your back again. This process helps the enema fluids soften hardened fecal matter. After holding the fluid for about 15 minutes, get up and release the enema into the toilet.

NOTE: If at any time you feel an uncontrollable urge to eliminate, quickly sit on the toilet and void the liquid. Remain seated until you are certain all of the fluid has been eliminated. Some of the fluid will be absorbed, so you will not release as much as you put in. You will feel much better after voiding.

These simple cleansing techniques can have an amazing impact on helping rid your body of toxins that make you sick! Removing dangerous toxins from your system is an important step in restoring your health and vitality—and preserving it for years to come!

∗ Before starting any cleansing technique, make sure you are adequately hydrated by drinking at least one quart of fluid. These techniques are not intended for extremely weak patients unless supervised by a health care provider.
