Following a water fast or liquid cleanse, you should slowly reintroduce whole foods to your system. Start with fresh juices, green and leafy vegetables, sprouts, tofu, fruit (either raw, frozen or cooked), nuts and seeds. There are some foods that may upset your stomach and digestive system. You should avoid whole grains, white breads, pasta, rice, feta and other cheeses, sour cream, potatoes, starchy beans, corn, eggs and meat. By continuing a nutrient-rich, whole foods diet you can maintain the healthy effects you obtained during your cleanse and detox.
