Liver and Kidney Damage

Many over-the-counter meds—including pain relievers like ibuprofen and acetaminophen—can increase your chances for liver or kidney damage. The American Liver Foundation recommends you should take no more than 3 grams of acetaminophen per day. That’s equal to six extra-strength tablets. But to avoid this risk altogether try natural pain relief remedies such as massage, acupuncture or yoga. Vitamins D and B12 can help… along with willow bark, magnesium and capsaicin cream.
