Offices and schools across the country may be replacing the junk food found in most vending machines with healthier options. This means including water, juice, milk and juice blends instead of drinks with added sweeteners or caffeine. Some of the healthier snacks include yogurt beans, tuna salad and crackers, fruit bars and sunflower seeds. The company responsible, San Diego-based Fresh Health Vending, currently services machines at more than 1,700 locations.
