Yes, according to research conducted by the University of California, Davis. The condition known as heterochromia occurs when there is an excess or lack of melanin in the iris of the eye. This results in various color inflections such as hazel in one eye and hazel and blue in the other eye. Heterochromia can also occur because of inflammation, injury or glaucoma medications.
