The avocado fruit contains healthy amounts of monounsaturated fat—or the “good” fat. It’s considered one of the world’s healthiest fruits by many nutritionists since it contains key nutrients such as vitamins B6, C and K, plus potassium, folic acid, fiber and copper. It also contains oleic acid—another good fat linked with lowering “bad” LDL cholesterol levels. Try slicing and eating it raw… mashing it for guacamole… or adding it to your favorite fish or poultry dish. You can also mix avocado with other fruits to form a healthy juice and maximize your health benefits!
