The benefits of exercise can improve your health in dozens of ways and now researchers have discovered that staying active may reduce your risk of developing breast cancer.

A study conducted at the University of Northern Colorado found that in participants of varying ages, the largest impact occurred in those who were 30 or older. By following an exercise regimen or remaining active for an hour per week, scientists found the risk of breast cancer to be lower.

Starting a regular exercise regimen may be easier and more enjoyable than you think. Walking, running, yoga and swimming are just a few of the examples of activities that can help keep you active whether you’re in your 30s, 40s, 50s or beyond!
