Researchers found a link between genetics and blood clotting timeIndividuals who are concerned about blood clots may want to consider taking nutritional supplements such as vitamin E and ginkgo biloba, which work as natural blood thinners.

According to a study published in the American Journal of Human Genetics, researchers have found that there may be certain genes that can give insight into how long it takes certain people’s blood to clot.

The scientists believe that these findings could provide insight as to who is more susceptible to developing blood-clotting disorders such as thrombosis and certain strokes. Three genes known as F12, HRG and KNG1 are responsible for the variation in the speed of clotting in various healthy people, the study finds.

Researchers of the study are excited by their findings, noting that no one else has ever come to the same conclusions before.

"This is an exciting genetic discovery, especially as so few genes account for such a large effect," said researcher Lorna Houlihan, Ph.D. "We have explored the genetics of the medical information that has been given by our cohorts of older people."ADNFCR-1960-ID-19682833-ADNFCR

Plaque Begins Clogging Your Arteries In Childhood…

You might be surprised to know that by the time you reach age 10, rogue calcium molecules—calcium deposited where it doesn't belong—begin gluing fatty cholesterol deposits to the inner walls of your coronary arteries, forming plaque. And over the years it continues to build up…

Each year thereafter your plaque deposits grow larger. By the time you are 50 your arteries are full of thick, sticky plaque and too narrow for optimum blood flow… starving your heart, brain cells and every other cell in your body, leaving you at risk for a heart or brain disaster.

For optimum heart, brain and total body health, you must keep your arteries clear and healthy. Now a simple amino acid has been demonstrated to help flush dangerous plaque… help unclog arteries… and help restore healthy blood flow. To get the name of this heart miracle, Click Here
