Fast Fact: Safe Way to Marinate Your Foods

If you like to marinate your foods in sauces or liquids before cooking, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommends that you place the marinating foods in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Foods left at room temperature could be exposed to fast-growing bacteria. Be sure to discard the liquid after marinating and DO NOT reuse it as a dipping sauce!
